We realize that not all relationships are meant to be, and that sometimes, things just don’t work out. If that happens between you and Clicktricity, we will make every reasonable effort to make the separation amicable.
For Software
In most situations, this will involve your removing our software from your systems and our refunding you some money.
How much money?
That depends. If you actually used our software and got some benefit out of it, you probably won’t receive a full refund. If, on the other hand, you really tried to use our software, made use of all the support available to you (up to and including contacting our technical support), and ultimately concluded that our software just wasn’t going to get the job done for you, then you’ll probably get a full refund (or darn close to it) – as long as this happens within a reasonable amount of time (say 14-21 days from the date of purchase).
With our software that offers a fully-functional trial version that you can try before you buy, we typically do NOT offer refunds.
If you have a support contract or a license subscription, terminations will be prorated through the end of the current month.
For Photography
Hired Photography
If we fail to deliver, there is no charge for our services. However, this means that both parties will sit down and go through the contract’s deliverables item by item to determine exactly where we failed. If it is determined that we failed to deliver, we will arrange a refund upon return of all delivered images, both physical and digital, as well as having all published digital images removed. If any delivered images have been emailed, copied, distributed, published, or used in any manner, the refund will be prorated to account for the usage.
Image Licensing – Corporate
Most image licensing agreements can be terminated at any time, effective the end of the current month. Any prepaid fees will be prorated through the end of the current month. Termination is subject to curtailment of usage. For example, an annual license for a monthly print add could be terminated in the middle of the year because the monthly usage would end. However, an annual license for a book cover could not be terminated mid-year unless the book is no longer available for sale.
Image Licensing – Personal
When you buy an image license for personal use, you receive permission to make copies and to distribute it as you wish. You may even make personal prints from the image if you license a suitably-sized file. Because you are able to preview the image before purchasing, and because there is no way to control how you use an image after you receive it, there are no refunds for personal image licenses.
Image Prints
If you license an image from us and have a print made (whether by you or any other third party), we are not responsible for the results and make no warranty as to your satisfaction in the print.
If you have us make a print for you, we absolutely guaranty that you will receive the highest quality print possible. If it is unacceptable to you, simply contact us for a Return Merchandise Authorization and we will begin the process of refunding your money.
